How would you describe the work you do and why?:
I try to bring out the creatures from the stone. Its rare I have a plan of what I am going to make, I tend to see a few stones and then one will just give me an idea and I start carving.
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
Stone carver.
Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:
I refrain from teaching as my working life was mainly that. I tend to work alone or at the Skelton workshop at Brighton where I trained.
CV & Education, relevant & leading to your artistic practice:
I have done a range of small courses at a range of venues, but mainly at The Skelton Workshops in Ditchling, Brighton.
Covering stone carving and letter cutting.
