How would you describe the work you do and why?:

I am an abstract artist working in mixed media including the use of inks, acrylics and dyes on both paper and cloth often using stitch and word to enhance the pieces. Works start by playing around with colour in any of the forms mentioned and seeing where is leads me but leaving people to see what they want to see.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

Being an artist broadens my perspective on life and enhances my appreciation for our world and all it has to offer in colour, texture and form from where my inspiration is drawn. It helps me breath and is good for my soul, it is my Ikigai.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I am a mixed media artist
