After attending a landscape painting course, Covid and lockdown arrived, the highlights of which were walks and bike rides around the Malverns where I live, I started noticing more of the beautiful ever-changing landscapes around me, and with my newly acquired skills, I started to paint.
It’s an investigation and appreciation of the natural world around me. The challenge of perceiving and interpreting the colours, textures, shapes, the play of the seasons and the changing light.
