Details
I make high fired Stoneware Domestic Pottery which is designed to be used. It is oven proof, dish washer proof, freezer proof and the the high firing temperature gives strength & durability. I make within the Leach Studio Pottery tradition & Arts & Crafts movement. I want my work to be accessible to all reflected in competitive pricing with some items specifically designed for the smaller budget. I also make more expensive large individual pieces & occasional Porcelain pieces interpreting the natural plasticity of Clay but still within a functional context.
Following a Creative Journey to express one's self through ongoing learning & a feedback relationship with the medium of Clay & associated techniques involving & evolving elements of design & decoration.
Derek A. Lamb Ceramics produces a wide range of hand thrown quality functional Pottery beautiful to use both in the kitchen & general home or garden setting.
