How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

As an animal and pet portrait artist, my work is mainly from commissions and I get a great sense of satisfaction producing paintings which bring a bit of joy to the pet owners. I have great fun capturing the character and personality of animals, whether it's a dog, cat, horse or cow etc.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

For me, being an artist is doing what I love and feel passionate about.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?: 

My business name is Rosie Mark Artwork and I am primarily an animal portrait artist.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching: 

I'm a member of the Association of Animal Artists and also Ludlow Art Society.
