How would you describe the work you do and why?:
An eclectic range of mixed media pictures and decorations created from upcycled/ recycled materials and found objects.
Themes are based on everyday observations of objects eg vintage jugs of flowers, sea themes, nostalgia, everyday chores and characters I encounter who I think have bit of a story!
For you what does being an artist mean?:
Escapism and a way to express my quirky imagination!
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
Recycling/ upcycling artist
Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:
Workshops with small groups and in schools along with regular teaching in Llandrindod Wells with a Saturday children's art club
