How would you describe the work you do and why?:

My training as a contemporary shamanic practitioner and my interest in dreams and visions inspire me to create my art

For you what does being an artist mean?:

Being an artist gives me expression and focus to new realms of possibility. I celebrate the connection of all natural life and enjoy sharing my inner world with the viewer.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:

I have recently been commissioned to illustrate series of book jackets and enjoy the challenge of something new. I also make masks and decorate shamanic drums by commission.

CV & Education, relevant & leading to your artistic practice:

I went to Art School in the 60s. I trained as a therapist and worked as a holistic therapist for 35 years often using art as a way of helping clients to discover their own creative path. Now I just paint in my retirement and also write poetry and short stories.
