How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

The illustrative work for the Christmas and everyday card market is wholly imaginative, with ideas triggered by a moment a situation.
My paintings in watercolour, pastel and sometimes acrylic are from subject matter in front of me, it is a matter of relaying the light, shade contrasts, textures and composition to please the eye.
A love of fabrics and the nature of different cloth as it hangs and folds, will always give me pleasure, and to bring it to life in pastel is incredibly fulfilling for some extraordinary reason!

Now I just exhibit with once a year and keep the cards going for a company in the North
