How would you describe the work you do and why?:

My work has always been rooted in reportage, perhaps it's because I started out as a press photographer.
For me natural light and candid shots are the best way to capture the atmosphere of a moment, or to reveal a personality.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

Photography is about seeing. Your eye is always composing images, and it's the challenge to capture those images, and convey what you see to others.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I'm a photographer and my company is Stacey Mutkin Photography.
