Details
My work is both colourful, dynamic and vibrant, whichever medium I am exploring. Recently printing has fired my imagination. I find it feeds into my painting practice and stimulates new ideas for texture, layering and experimenting with new painting surfaces.
I have always painted, using either watercolours, oils, acrylics or mixed media.
My paintings are a visual response to the wonderful world around me, be it landscapes, people, trees or even my dreams.
I am at my happiest when working in my studio or sketching from life or my surroundings. Being an artist is like a wonderful gift to be able to express myself and share my work with others. I feel as long as I can continue as an artist I feel truly alive.
I am a contemporary painter and print maker always exploring new media
I have run many art classes and workshops in Hereford. Also organising h.Art Exhibitions for my Dinedor Art Class at Berrington Hall Stables.
Most recently, I taught art to a group of Ukrainian refugees, mostly mothers and daughters, last summer.
This experience was very moving and stimulating at the same time for my own art practice.
I trained at Hornsey College of Art and Wimbledon School of Art in Fine Art.
I then worked in Advertising as a Creative Director in London, and ran my own Creative Consultancy before concentrating on my art practice full time.
Member of the West London Group of Artists. I have exhibited widely at many galleries in London, Surrey, Sussex and Herefordshire.
