Specialising in watercolour and mixed media study, I create original pieces inspired by the beauty of nature ranging through all the seasons as an artistic and emotive vision. Throughout my artwork I blend the vibrancy of colours and unique techniques to create authentic pieces for those art lovers seeking individuality through art.
Being an artist enables me to accompany others on a journey of emotions, hopes and dreams by helping them to see the world in a different way. It is a state of mind where you must persevere and keep looking to move forward on that journey.
I started my Art journey in 2003 by attending a Chinese Watercolour evening class, and those first brushstrokes would forever define my passion for loose painting and atmospheric watercolours. Extending to landscape and flower painting in the following years, I developed my artistic style by combining the fresh and energic characteristics of the brushstrokes of Chinese watercolour with our more traditional watercolour techniques. Today my paintings and other creations are a mirror image of my artistic evolution.
Over the years I have attended various workshops and classes led by professional artists but I am predominantly a self-taught artist .
