How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

I make domestic pottery. It is often thrown, sometimes scalloped or fluted. Sometimes decorated. Could be figurative. It’s sometimes good to not have the constraints of function.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

It is freedom and play. Being alive. Work. A thread. Awake. In touch. Disappointment. Enthusiasm. .
