How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

I make domestic pottery. It is often thrown, sometimes scalloped or fluted. Sometimes decorated.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

It is a vital thread that runs through my life, using my imagination, certain technical skills, making pots that are hopefully alive.

I just work on my own. The solitude is important.
