How would you describe the work you do and why?

I paint mostly wildlife and birds using mainly watercolour. I also create artwork using ink, acrylic ink, pencil charcoal and soft pastels.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

I can express myself through my art and I find I totally relax whilst painting and drawing. I have gained confidence since I started painting, and I strive to learn and explore as I continue on my artistic journey.

I like to meet different artists at events and markets where we share experiences, art techniques and discuss a mutual love of creating art.
