How would you describe the work you do and why?:

I create mosaic artwork and decor for indoor and outdoor spaces with a focus on flowers and nature, as being connected to nature is where I feel most at peace. I hope that sense of harmony is reflected in my pieces and therefore into the lives of those who appreciate my work.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

For me, it's about letting loose and having the freedom to be creative outside of the challenges of daily life, grabbing those moments of inspiration and translating them into something tangible, experimenting with ideas and learning something new every day.

Mosaic artist and tutor

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:

I run small workshops teaching basic mosaic techniques including make your own house number, create a Christmas decoration

I studied interior design at college but have had no art/design education since then - I learned everything from books/online tutorials and just having a go.
