How would you describe the work you do and why?:
I combine knitting and crochet, yarn and wire to make unique jewellery and knitted gifts.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
I relish the freedom being an artist gives me. I enjoy experimenting with colour and texture, mixing beads, glass and wire into different forms. I combine knitting and crochet to create new and exciting pieces of jewellery which are always original.
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
First and foremost I am a knitter and crocheter who loves colour and texture.
Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:
I love running group workshops and have done many for WI groups over the last couple of years. I teach from home and in day care centres and love passing on my skills and enthusiasm to others.
