I believe in working sustainably and use recycled and repurposed materials whenever I can.
I am currently using textile and painting to explore actual and psychological journeys, how it mirrors our identity at a place in time. I am very interested in how our journeys and identity are affected by life events and experiences.
I am primarily a hand stitcher. I use a variety of techniques of hand and machine, applique, felting, quilting. I paint on fabrics. I am also a painter of landscape and abstracts in gouache and acrylics.
Workshops and talks about my work
Started on an Access to arts course at Malvern, then City and Guilds in hand embroidery.
