How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

I believe in working sustainably and use recycled and repurposed materials whenever I can.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

I am currently using textile and painting to explore actual and psychological journeys, how it mirrors our identity at a place in time. I am very interested in how our journeys and identity are affected by life events and experiences.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?: 

I am primarily a hand stitcher. I use a variety of techniques of hand and machine, applique, felting, quilting. I paint on fabrics. I am also a painter of landscape and abstracts in gouache and acrylics.

Started on an Access to arts course at Malvern, then City and Guilds in hand embroidery.
