Details
How would you describe the work you do and why?
I make jewellery from anodised aluminium which I hand dye and print before cutting out my designs using a jewellers hand saw. I like Scandinavian and Mid Century design and this is what influences my jewellery designs in the form of clean lines and quirky geometric shapes.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
To me, being an artist means transforming something as plain as aluminium in to a beautiful piece of colourful jewellery that is meaningful to the wearer. I like that I can work with my hands to create something unique and special that people can see and feel.
