I live in my head and constantly search for peace – not OF mind, but FROM it. My work is a visual representation of my inner world. I’m fascinated by patterns as they offer clues to an underlying order. I believe all of us respond to patterns in this way, to varying degrees.
Through spontaneous reaction and technique, I can exert a degree of control and manipulation on paint which I pour from cups, jugs and bowls in order to create something intriguing and completely unique. In those precious moments, I am FULLY present - I BELONG to MYSELF and I am FREE...
