How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

When demonstrating Ikebana, I like to explain a little of the background which makes it easier for the listener/student to connect with the subject and appreciate both the unique and beautiful expression of this little known artform.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

Sharing knowledge and beauty.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?: 

I am a Teacher and 3rd Master in the Japanese Art of Flower Arranging called IKEBANA.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching: 

I offer private lessons, workshops, Taster Days and Residential Introductory Courses. My chosen Ikebana School is the OHARA School and I teach according to its curriculum. I also accept invitations for a talks/demonstrations to clubs and societies.
