How would you describe the work you do and why?:

I have always been a collector of objects, often things which have been discarded. I am interested in why we collect, and why I am particularly drawn to objects which show signs of use and age. My ceramic and textile elements include indexical signs of the making process, such as fingerprints, rust and marks made using found objects.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

The opportunity to express myself creatively and spend my time making.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
