How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

I would describe my work as quiet and thoughtful with a playful edge - I like to take comfortable, familiar things and use them to convey emotion.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

The opportunity to express myself creatively and spend my time making.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?: 

I am a ceramic artist, using a number of ceramic techniques along with mixed media to consider the importance of the objects we choose to keep around us.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching: 

Creative workshops for adults and children.
Currently studying for MA Contemporary Crafts at HCA.
