 h.Art Sat 4 - Sun 12 September

We're all looking forward to getting out and about more than ever this year and living life to the full again.

What better than planning your nine days of discovering art, crafts and design from an amazing array of creative people showing across the beautiful county of Herefordshire and its close borders.

People who've tried h.Art for the first time and regular visitors, consistently say how enjoyable, uplifting and inspirational they find it, and they keep coming back for more. You can go armed with your mask and hand sanitiser, but you’re very unlikely to be in a big crowd of people, the venues are fairly dispersed and of course we’ll have good weather, so there’ll be lots of ventilation. Each venue will have their own personal precautions they will want you to follow.

Take your time and do things at your pace, it’s all very civilised and relaxing, have lunch or a snack along your way and make the most of this annual art feast. Artists sell direct to you, have a chat with them and find out more about how they create and make their artwork. Maybe think about a bespoke commission for yourself or someone special, it doesn’t cost you more. Prices and artwork range hugely, from traditional craft, watercolours and artist blacksmiths to contemporary painting and sculpture in all sorts of artforms, from a few pounds and on up to thousands and everything in between.  There really is something for everyone.

Explore all the venues and artists taking part by clicking on ‘All Venues’ in the navigation bar at the top of the page https://www.h-art.org.uk/explore/artists You can choose to explore by artist, artform, location, venue or gallery. Each venue page has a link to google maps to help you find the venue when you're out and about.

Or you can use the printed h.Art guide. It's easy, just pick up your printed guide, see who you fancy visiting and use your fold out map as a guide, you're sure to be warmly welcomed where ever you choose to go.

Nearly all the venues open from 11am until 5pm each of the nine days, some open earlier or stay open longer, a few are closed at varying times, you’ll find all the details including access in the printed guide.

Find your printed guide in large supermarkets in tourist leaflet dispensers and your library or Tourist Info Centre and tourist attractions. You'll also find them at lots of other places across Herefordshire, too many to mention. If you live out of County you can request a guide to be posted to you at https://www.h-art.org.uk/contact

And whilst you’re on this site check out each artist’s or gallery profile page. Artists and galleries update their pages through out the year, so you can check out what’s new with them and follow your favourites before and after h.Art week. You can use the google map link on each venue page to help you reach your destination, if you prefer not to look at a printed map. https://www.h-art.org.uk/explore/artists

Plan to take the time to feel uplifted and inspired by Herefordshire's creative people.

Enrich your homes and lives with their wonderfully varied art and craftworks.

Please note some variations in the pinted guide - Ali Hughes at Art in the Lodge, Venue 23 is missing on the Artist Index under 3D Mixed Media.

Sarah Rowe @ The Art Room, Venue 33 is marked wrongly as Venue 34 on the fold out map, please follow signs for number 33. Art at Longacre, map number 34 is correct.

Terrence Bunce is missing on venue 40, Art at St Catherine's in the printed guide
