 h.Art  2026 - Sat 5 to Sun 13 September

Take your time to feel uplifted and inspired by Herefordshire's creative people.

Enrich your homes and lives with their wonderfully varied art and craftworks.

h.Art is a not to be missed early Autumn treat.

Hundreds of artists across the County and close borders.

9 days of joyful inspiration, unique finds, and the chance to buy direct from the creator. Meet them in their creative habitats, pop up shows in lots of unexpected places and galleries. Many artists only open their work spaces once a year, giving you a rare insight into their creative lives and their individual practice. You can chat, just browse, buy, or commission direct.

Artists and galleries update their pages throughout the year, so you can check out what’s new with them and follow your favourites until the end of the year.

How to explore -

You can choose to explore by artist, artform, gallery, location or venue.

Each venue page has a link to the artists showing there and to 'what three words' and google maps.

Obituary: Nancy Sutcliffe (1957-2025)

Some very sad news, Nancy Sutcliffe, who's exquisite glass work featured on the h.Art guide cover this year, passed away on 23 September following a short battle with blood cancer.

"This link to obituary in the Contemporary Glass Society below, tells you more about Nancy and her work much more eloquently than I possibly can and includes images to her work, which I can't put here. I can't say I knew Nancy well but I've known her a long time.  I first met her when she used to show at the Contemporary Craft Fair.  I’ve always loved Nancy's work and the way it developed and changed over the years has been amazing to see, she was so full of energy and positivity. It was great that her work was on the cover this year, she told me she was thrilled about it." Mel Potter

Nancy’s husband Dennis has set up a JustGiving page to raise funds for Cancer Research UK in Nancy’s memory. He is planning to donate notable pieces of her work to glass museums and similar venues so people can see what is possible and be inspired. So far, he has confirmed that her piece ‘Geode’ is going to Stourbridge Glass Museum and the Studio at Corning Museum of Glass in the US with take ‘Moths’.

Venues looking for artists for h.Art 2026

Venues looking for artists for h.Art 2026:

Ali Tregaskes, I am a jeweller (etched silver www.alitregaskes.com). I will be looking for someone to join me at my studio next year - Brunel Workshops - Ross on Wye HR9 7DX

It’s an upstairs venue - well known and well frequented for many years. Space for one person -2D work or 3D ( not jewellery). Possibly needs to be someone relatively local to Ross on Wye. Costs will be half of the price for the advert, for two people. You will attend daily, share in setting up/ taking down. Use social media to advertise etc.
