How would you describe the work you do and why?:
I am a designer and model-maker and have worked in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham for over 30 years . I am a self taught model maker and have developed my own techniques for carving wax. I carve my pieces by hand . The wax carvings are then cast in silver using the lost wax process.
Using the techniques I have developed I am now creating my own jewellery collection.
And exploring carving different materials- stone and wood on a miniature scale.
