How would you describe the work you do and why?
I have always been influenced by nature and the Celtic arts. When developing my own collection of jewellery I have enjoyed the research side for the design as well as the carving work that is involved.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
I have always been a creative person, and problem solving is also something I enjoy. Creating something is never straightforward. It is with you at all times, day and night.
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
I am a freelance model maker. I design and carve pieces in wax which are then cast to create master patterns for use in the silversmithing and jewellery trades.
