How would you describe the work you do and why?:

All my pieces are individually designed and made by me in my small studio in the Herefordshire village of Dilwyn. No two pieces are alike. The medium I use is Craft Crank Clay. This produces a rustic 'toasted' appearance once fired. Producing individual pieces allows me to vary the appearance of each item resulting in a unique item for the customer.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

Working with clay and firing my own designs in ceramics allows me to experiment with different effects and finishes
