Artwork for Paula Jobson
Blue Tit in Flight
Forever fascinated by the natural world, and more recently investigating our mechanical response to that world. Over recent years artwork has incorporated landscapes, butterflies, birds and currently those most magnificent flying machines.
The world is seen in volumes of colour, the intensity of that colour changes with moods. The expression of my feelings for the world around me is assisted by the choice of vibrant colour on my art palette. With those colours, my hand investigates my trains of thought.
Adventurous artist, engineer and happy outdoor person. Painting in acrylics. As soon as a painting style is defined it changes. That's life.
Self-taught, with invaluable instruction from:
Helen Elliot, Wales - contemporary colourist naive style painting.
Katja Katholik-Bloss - Botanical Illustration
Fiona Potter, Bromyard - plein air landscapes in oil
Gerald Crane, Capuchin Yard Hereford - traditional style painting.
