How would you describe the work you do and why?:
I love colour and the uplifting effect it can have on both viewer and wearer.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
It adds enrichment, purpose and satisfaction to my life. And it is highly addictive!
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
I am a mixed media artist, specialising in jewellery, buttons and decorative items created using polymer clay, beads, fabric and wire.
Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:
I teach adults locally and nationally.
CV & Education, relevant & leading to your artistic practice:
I have been creating jewellery for over 30 years using polymer clay, beads, wire, fabric and found items in my work. I am primarily self-taught in art and have PTLLS for teaching.
Exhibitions in the last 3 years:
Herefordshire Art Week, 2021, 2022, 2023. Chapel Cottage Studio Christmas Exhibition 2021, 2022, 2023. Various art and craft fairs and Galleries.
