How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

Observation drawing, underpins a creative practice, realised in paintings and small abstract sculptural outcomes which are sometimes wearable.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

Art should be visible, democratic, and part of the wider community.
Drawing is a powerful processing tool; to celebrate and ease. It quiets the noise between idea and materials.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?: 

Artist, photographer, educator, and curator. My research explores links between body, identity, and landscape.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching: 

Lecturer at Hereford College of the arts, working with degree, level students in the School of Materials and Design, teaching design process, and critical thinking. Exhibiting artist, curation and artist led workshops also undertaken.

University of Wales Trinity Saint David / HCA MA in Contemporary Crafts distinction. 2017.
Kingston University; BA Fine Art Sculpture with Critical Contemporary Practice. 1996.
Self-employed artist, photographer, facilitator and administrator from 1998 onwards.
