Drawing and Painting plants and flowers. Their colour and form inspires me.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

Being compelled to pick up my pencils and brushes and capture on paper the subjects I see.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?: 

Floral/ Botanical artist

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching: 

I paint full time and am currently a student on the Society of Botanical Artists diploma course.

CV & Education, relevant & leading to your artistic practice: 

Studies at Moseley School of Art, Birmingham and Newton Park College of Education, Bath.
Taught primary school children and art teacher.
