How would you describe the work you do and why?:
I just want to make a little magic and create things that don't exist in the world. I want to encapsulate that feeling I had as a child when I truly believed that fairies lived at the bottom of the garden and there was a monster under my bed. Lots of atmosphere, nostalgia, folklore and a little humour too in places.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
I have always had the desire to make things, be they paintings, sculptures, sewing my own clothes - all these things are just part of a drive I have. Being an artist for me is just being true to myself.
