How would you describe the work you do and why?:
I like to capture the beauty of the wildlife that I see around me. I use pencils to try and recreate the birds and animals that I see when I go for a walk.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
It helps me to make sense of the world, and to make a connection to the natural environment around me. It also allows me to express myself and reduces my stress and anxiety
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
I am a Wildlife Artist who draws mostly British wildlife, particularly birds, with Graphite pencils and coloured pencils.
