How would you describe the work you do and why?
I handknit neck-warmers, hats, fingerless mitts, shawls, shrugs and necklace cowls with a yarn, with a jewel like glisten. Beautiful and useful accessories for all year round .
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
Marions Scarves I am a handknitter from a hobby. I have now displayed and exhibited at Craft Fairs and outlets around Herefordshire for over 20 years.
Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:
I have been a crafter with Golden Valley Craft Society for over 25 years and try to encourage adults and children to take up a craft . We hold Craft Fairs at All Saints Church on a monthly basis.
CV & Education, relevant & leading to your artistic practice:
My mother and grandmother both knitted and they taught my two sisters and I, I'm happy to be continuing the family craft.
