Pottery fun for everyone
My work as a landscape painter is greatly influenced by my surrounding landscape.
I am continually striving to portray in my work the emotions I have for the subject. Hopefully I can convey that feeling to the viewer.
Having now retired to the beautiful Herefordshire countryside I am able to follow my love of painting and ceramics.
Apart from painting and potting I spend time working with the Royal British Legion making ceramic poppies which are sold throughout Herefordshire.
I have also had groups of disabled people, particularly children, to experience the joys of working with clay.
I am currently working with the National Autistic Society, Hereford Branch who will be sending groups to me as soon as Covid restrictions allow . If anyone is interested in these activities please contact me.
I had a wonderful childhood living in Pershore where I was a chorister in Pershore Abbey choir, worked during holidays on local farms and generally enjoyed the countryside. Many years later my wife and I bought a farm at Leigh Sinton . Whilst never far from a paintbrush I was not able to paint seriously until my retirement.
I have exhibited with h.Art, Little Witley Tearooms, Witley Baroque Church, Hartlebury Castle, Stoke Lacy events and various private events.
I have a gallery and workshops at my home address available for viewing at most times by appointment.
