Skirrid Studio & Gallery

Helen is a mixed media artist, tutor and writer from North Wales, and now lives on the Welsh border in Longtown. Join her at Skirrid Studio and Gallery (open year round by appointment) for a carefully curated show of landscape paintings and etchings. You can book to attend a formal demo (07/09/25, 2pm) and/or a gestural landscape painting workshop (12/09/25 1pm).

For all visitors, Helen shares the story of each artwork, describing her unorthodox artistic techniques alongside historical and topographical context for her growing body of work. Some of this background will be available in Helen's book, The Winding Light, which is on offer at a reduced price to h.Art visitors.
