Canwood Gallery
For Herefordshire Art Week, Canwood Gallery presents a not-to-be-missed programme across its indoor galleries and ten-acre sculpture park.
In the Main Gallery, Leah Wood presents her solo exhibition, An English Summer. Painting from hedgerows, meadows, and gardens, and capturing fleeting moments in bloom, the works explore the quiet richness of the season, its softness, abundance, and gentle sense of passing time.
In the Turbine Hall, Liam Lacey presents New Territory, a new body of work responding to farming and the countryside.
Alongside these exhibitions, works by the acclaimed Patricia Volk, together with Sharon Yorke and Laura Nicholson, are presented in dialogue with Canwood’s permanent collection, offering a broader view of contemporary practice.
Outside, the sculpture park showcases work by over 20 sculptors, set throughout the landscape, alongside a special exhibition of the Earth Photo 2026 prize winners. Visitors are invited to explore the grounds at their own pace, discovering sculpture woven into the natural environment.
An on-site café, free entry, and ample parking make Canwood Gallery a welcoming destination throughout Herefordshire Art Week.
