Lou Lothian Leintwardine

Description: 

I make stoneware pottery on the wheel. This is mainly functional ware such as large bowls, vases and jars. I am inspired by the land and weather that surrounds me now in Herefordshire and from my time in Scotland, and I am also influenced by my design background. This shows through in the decorative choices I make such as hand cutting stencils, making stamps, using slips, carving details together with the glazes I mix. I also run Introduction to Pottery workshops from my studio in Leintwardine.
