Info
How do you describe your Gallery?:
Visit us to enjoy world-class exhibitions, learn more about Sidney Nolan’s life and work, explore 17th Century Rodd Court and relax in our extensive gardens and grounds set in the beautiful Welsh Marches near Presteigne. The Sidney Nolan Trust is a registered charity, founded by the Australian artist Sir Sidney Nolan in 1985. Nolan was a leading artist of the 20th century, and his Ned Kelly paintings became iconic. Today the Trust’s work is inspired by his life-long experimentation, innovation and passion for creativity, as well as his love for the environment. We care for the world’s largest collection of his artwork, his extensive archives, as well as his former home The Rodd.
Our exhibitions present artwork from our collection, as well as exhibitions by contemporary artists. Our learning, events and residency programmes support children, young people, adults, and artists to learn, exchange ideas and create.
Do you specialise in any particular artform or craft?:
Contemporary art in all mediums including paint, print, sculpture, film etc.
What's important to you when you choose whose work to exhibit and sell?:
