How would you describe your Gallery?:
A vibrant community craft centre showcasing and eclectic range of local art and craft, with a rolling programme of exhibitions and workshops.
Do you specialise in any particular artform or craft?:
We have a wide range of art and crafts on display in the gallery.
What's important to you when you choose whose work to exhibit and sell?:
The quality of construction, originality and individually handmade production is key in choosing work to exhibit and sell. We are a charity run for the benefit of local craftspeople and to promote access for all to participate in arts and crafts. Exhibitors actively work together to run the gallery and craft centre and must be prepared to get involved.
What's coming up this year?:
We are increasing our provision of a wide range of art and craft courses in 2026. Ewyas Harold on Film for one week only week beginning 2nd March. Our first exhibition 'Inspired by Eggs' will run from April until the end of May. We will continue our involvement with Hereford Museum's Know your Roots - Herefordshire Hoard Project throughout 2026. There will be a rolling programme of exhibitions throughout the year.
Your notable exhibitions in the last few years:
Wedding Dresses from 1940's up to present day - loaned by local residents; Quilts; Handmade Christmas Decorations; From Fleece to Fashion; Golden Valley Photography celebrating the Graham Sprackling Archive and the photographs of Richard Jenkins (raising funds for creating a permanent display case to house the Sprackling Archive in St Michael's Church, and Teenage Cancer Trust; Ewyas Harold on Film, Christmas Wreaths and Garlands.
