How do you describe your Gallery?:
Oil & Oak is a community Gift Shop & Gallery, supporting local independent makers, creators and artists. Located in the beautiful Hay-on-Wye, in the Welsh Borderlands, we are proudly unique, artisan and independent.
Do you specialise in any particular artform or craft?:
Showcasing over 40 local creatives and their handmade sustainable gifts, we want to support as many artists and makers as we can. Oil & Oak is a curated space for contemporary craft and design from Wales and beyond. We stock a range of Jewelery, Homewares, Handmade Clothing, Greetings Cards, Wrapping Paper, Vegan Gifts, Original Artwork, Prints, Beauty Products, Sustainable Gifts, Ceramics and Sculptures.
What's important to you when you choose whose work to exhibit and sell?:
I choose Artists that are creating something authentic and unique to themselves. Everything in Oil & Oak is lovingly handmade and designed by a creative.
