Hergest Croft Gardens
Nestled beneath the iconic Hergest Ridge, with sweeping views towards the Black Mountains, Hergest Croft Gardens is a truly special 70-acre space to explore. Created and gently shaped over five generations of the Banks family, the gardens are home to one of the finest collections of plants and shrubs in the UK, including national collections of Maples, Birches and Zelkovas, along with more than 130 Champion trees. Rare and unusual species are tucked throughout, offering something new to discover as you wander.
As part of H.Art, Hergest Croft Gardens offers a lovely setting to experience art in the landscape, with an exhibition featuring artist-in-residence Miranda Whitten-Walker, alongside Chris Williams and Rebecca Reynolds. Their work will be shown within a dedicated exhibition space, much of it inspired by the surrounding landscape and local area. It offers a chance to pause, take it all in, and experience how the gardens continue to influence and inspire creative work.
