How would you describe the work you do and why?

I have a deep love for nature and the rhythms of landscape, wild spaces and art. I aim to show the beauty and fragility of the habitats and microsystems around us, promoting understanding and a willingness to protect them.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

Being an artist allows me to share my love for nature and its science with a wider audience, promoting understanding in an inclusive and accessible way.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I am a fine art photographer, writer and book artist.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:

I have led both wildlife and astrophotography walks for the Kington Walking Festivals since 2022. I shall be Artist in Residence at Hergest Croft Gardens next year (2027) and will be running workshops there throughout the year.

CV & Education, relevant & leading to your artistic practice:

I am largely self-taught, though have attended various photography workshops and short courses over the last 20 years.
I have recently become a member of the Marches Book Arts Group and will be exhibiting with them for the Marches Makers Festival this year.
