How would you describe the work you do and why?

I take inspiration from the changing colours and moods of the natural landscape to create materials on my floor and table looms, and use local plant material for natural dyeing and botanical ecoprinting. I also collect materials when travelling, and try to capture the essence of places visited within my work.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

The enjoyment of crafting with natural materials, and trying to convey the beauty of the landscape within the work I create. Enabling others to also enjoy making things they can be proud of.
