How would you describe the work you do and why?
I make humorous, irreverent and characterful Posh Paper Mache mixed media sculpture from mostly recycled materials and paintings with personality which contextualise the characters that I create in a setting or world, plus selected complementary giftware.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
I have been a practicing artist for 30 years following straight on from my art education which represents my life and lifestyle full time.
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
I am a Fine Art sculptor/painter.
Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:
I have a purpose built gallery space at my home in South Staffordshire where small groups can visit to browse artwork and take part in workshops to make my garden bird designs, details are on my website. You can also find a growing number of instructional videos and downloadable templates to help you make more complex sculptural projects from my designs on the blog page of my website and on You Tube.

Exhibitions in the last 3 years:
I am a member of the Worcestershire Guild and exhibit at the Spring and Autumn Fairs at Malvern Showground with this group.
