How would you describe the work you do and why?
I’m a wildlife artist and children’s author-illustrator, creating detailed watercolour paintings and gentle stories inspired by the natural world. Through my work, I hope to help children notice, understand and fall in love with wildlife — because I believe we are more likely to protect what we learn to love. My stories explore real conservation issues in a hopeful, age-appropriate way, encouraging curiosity, kindness and a sense that even small actions can make a difference.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
Being an artist, for me, is about noticing. Taking time to really look at the natural world and finding a way to share that sense of wonder. I hope my work encourages people to pause, look a little closer and feel a connection with the wildlife around them. And that, really, is what Wild Hearts, Gentle Stories is all about - helping children fall in love with nature, one story at a time.

Children’s Author-Illustrator, and Wildlife Artist
Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:
I focus all my free time on wildlife storytelling - my children's picture books are a lot of work.
I do the occasional school visit; my repeat list is growing!
