How would you describe the work you do and why?

Loosely figurative sculpture made from various materials (eg: clay, plaster, wax, cardboard, found/reclaimed wood) and cast into limited editions in either stone-resin or foundry-cast bronze.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

Making and exhibiting sculpture.

I served as the President of the Society of Women Artists from November 2021 - January 2026. I still work with the SWA but that is my only commitment outside of making/exhibiting. used to teach many years ago but I have earned my living entirely from my sculpture for over thirty years.
