How would you describe the work you do and why?
My artwork is very varied but mostly landscape and seascape and still life. I hope it is expressive. I take my inspiration mostly from the beautiful surrounding landscapes in Shropshire and Powys…indeed the whole of Wakes and The Lake District.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
It is just so satisfying and enthralling to make marks and create pictures.

I am completely self taught and motivated.
CV & Education, relevant & leading to your artistic practice:
I only started drawing and painting late in life so my education and working life are not relevant except as experience.
Exhibitions in the last 3 years:
So this is the first time I am exhibiting beyond my social circle and Monday Art Group in Knucklas.
