How would you describe the work you do and why?
Hopefully providing an atmosphere and a sesnse of place.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
Enjoyment, extra pleasure when something seems to really work, frustration and deliberation when it doesn't.
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
I paint mostly in oil and my main themes are local landscape and nature, along with scenes from long distance walks.

Self-taught by experiment and trial and error.
