Award-winning milliner Effie Williams opens her studio for the first time, showcasing her celebrated millinery alongside nature photography, illustration & print design.
Effie Williams is an award winning milliner who specialises in fun and flirty, made to order headpieces with a vintage twist. Based deep in the heart of Herefordshire, she is continually inspired by the ancient landscape which surrounds her. Effie produces two seasonal collections a year – Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter - as well as private bespoke commissions for a wide range of clients. All of Effie's hats and headpieces are lovingly hand-made by Effie herself in her Herefordshire studio, using both traditional and more contemporary millinery techniques. During h.Art week Effie will be showcasing the millinery methods and materials used to create each of her whimsical pieces in a series of informal, unscheduled demonstrations.
