Art in the Dingle

A diverse exhibition of work by five artists in a beautiful setting over looking the Wye valley.

Rosi Flood
Textiles colour and music form the basis for Rosi's work. She is also a textile artist/dyer and designer for film and television.

Myra Fricker
Myra is a mixed media artist currently absorbed by working with kiln-formed glass. ‘I love the vibrant colours that can be blended. It’s like painting with colour and light, and I ‘draw’ into the images using copper wire inclusions. I work from my own drawings, and am inspired by the world around me, what I see, feel and hear, people/music/stories/current affairs/ poetry/ anything really’.

Julia Green
Julia makes paintings and contemporary silver jewellery. ‘I am interested in the abstract shapes of the landscape which, for me, create a rich tapestry of colour and form’.

Monica Sims
Monica makes nature prints. When producing monoprints she works directly with the plants, both in clay and paper.

Sally Tottle
Sally’s work is inspired by movement and her passion for animals especially horses. She has worked in bronze jesmonite, wire and wire mesh. Her work was chosen for the front cover of the h.Art brochure in 2013.
