How do you describe your Gallery?:
TAKE 4 is in the Homend, Ledbury and is owned by Winona and Caroline . The gallery celebrated its third anniversary earlier in 2022 and prides itself in being an enjoyable and accessible venue to visit. They named it TAKE 4 as their vision was to exhibit 4 different mediums in rolling exhibitions under a generic title. The gallery has two bay windows facing the high street which are ever changing and offer a tantalising glimpse of what’s in the gallery! The owners pride themselves in their personable approach to the artists and visitors alike alongside exhibiting an eclectic mix of work and love creating a welcoming warm atmosphere. Throughout hArt there will be daily demonstrations from participating artists.
Do you specialise in any particular artform or craft?:
We exhibit a broad and diverse range of artwork from jewellery to sculpture, paintings to photography, mixed media to illustration.
What's important to you when you choose whose work to exhibit and sell?:
We try to marry different art forms under a broad title . We exhibit work of a high standard but want to make the work accessible and affordable to our visitors.
What's coming up this year?:
We have seven exhibitions up until December across a breadth of mediums
Your notable exhibitions in the last few years:
They have all been notable although the one preceding Christmas which housed work that included Tia Lamberts stunning paintings and the tactile ceramics of Claire Billingsley resulted in a beautiful display.
