How do you describe your Gallery?:
Hereford College of Arts is an independent art college surrounded by people who are passionate about the arts, design, media and performance. Our staff, many of whom are practising artists, are focused on the delivery of excellent creative education with the highest quality of teaching. Our students are brave, curious, inventive and individual which carries through in their work.
Do you specialise in any particular artform or craft?:
We cover the creative arts such as art, media, design, popular music and performing arts.
What's important to you when you choose whose work to exhibit and sell?:
We look for work that tells a story and engages, excites and educates the audience.
What's coming up this year?:
Due to lockdown, we are running further online exhibitions with external artists. Similar to the Guerrilla Girls. The next artist will be Ardhira Putra. This exhibition will be open to the public.
Your notable exhibitions in the last few years:
Exhibitions have included In the Frame which was a fundraising art exhibition for Refuge.org.uk. A live gig with Guerrilla Girls celebrating International Women's Day, Ferrous Festival, Festivals of Arts and Unlocked.
Who are the Artists you show on a regular basis:
Mainly student and staff exhibitions. However, in lockdown, we have exhibited online visiting artists work to our students.
