Info
How do you describe your Gallery?:
Our primary function is as the region's only open access ceramics studio. The building is a beautiful and friendly creative space and in our gallery area of the studio we display the work of our studio members. During larger events such as h.Art the whole studio is converted into a large display space.
Do you specialise in any particular artform or craft?:
Ceramics/Pottery
What's important to you when you choose whose work to exhibit and sell?:
We provide a platform for our studio members to sell their work. If they are willing to invest the time, effort and creativity necessary to creating a body of ceramic work to display then we will support them. We look to display the variety of functional and ornamental work that blossoms in the studio.
What's coming up this year?:
We are currently displaying the work of Miles Johnson, fresh from his time as a contestant on The Great Pottery Throw Down on Channel 4. We have a range of pottery workshops running monthly as well as visits from guest makers throughout 2022, a steady flow of our studio members' ceramics being displayed in our Coffeehouse and Gallery as well as public Raku firing and food and drink events between now and Herefordshire Art Week 2022.
